On‐The‐Job (OJT) Training

Workers may qualify for funding to help pay for short-term training if training is required as a condition of accepting a bona-fide job offer. Reimbursement to the employer is up to 50% of the wage rate of the trainee. At a minimum, ALL trainees must be registered and enrolled with OhioMeansJobs|Cleveland-Cuyahoga County prior to their start date.

Customized Training

Incumbent Worker

The Community Block Grant/Incumbent Worker Training Program (ITWP) objective is to support training projects that it will benefit local business and industry by assisting in the skill development of existing employees, resulting in increased employee productivity and growth/retention of the company and its workforce. The training must have common acceptance as a skill required for a particular industry.
